Fabulous place in Central Sorrento set within a small lemon grove. The villa has beautiful views of the mountains over the lemon trees, and of the coast. It has a gorgeous swimming pool which was needed in the hot weather; our family of five made good use of this. It was so convenient to be walking distance from the train station for trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples as well as being able to take boats and ferries from the harbour/Dock. Our host, Carmeline, was super responsive to questions we had and was extremely helpful in arranging trips and airport transfers. The interior of the villa was lovely but the best aspect was the outdoor seating on both sides of the property which allowed for family meals outside with a view. Big thumbs up from our family! Brilliant holiday.

Wonderful villa

We spent a week in the second floor apartment which had great views and well located for the town centre. As a family of three generations we enjoyed the spacious rooms and the children loved the pool. Carmine and the owner were very friendly and helpful at all times. Highly recommended.

It was a true pleasure to host Carol and her family. We hope to welcome you again in the future.

"This property was well located to walk to the train station, the port and the center of town"

The rental process was simple and everything was perfect for our stay.

"This was a very nice villa"

It is split into 2 apartments but as we were a party of 6 adults we rented both and had the place to ourselves, although the owner lives on site. The pool is clean and well maintained. The apartments are well equipped and in a very good position for easy access to Sorrento shops, harbour, train and bus stations. The Naples Villas rep was friendly, very helpful and easily accessable via whats app, but we didn't need him after we had settled in.

Great villa in fantastic location

We had a wonderful week here at this villa. Our family of four had the 1st floor apartment and my Mother in Law the one on the lower ground floor. This meant we had exclusive use of the lovely pool and plenty of space so we didn't get on top of one another. The appartments are well-equipped and in a great location only 5 minutes walk into Sorrento centre and with a few cafes, bars and pizza restaurants right on the door step. We'd love to come back.

"Fantastic time in Sorrento"

There were 6 of us that stayed in Villa Salvocarmelina for 1 week beginning on the 30th July 2022. Due to an early flight we arranged to meet the villa manager (Carmine) before the allocated check in time so that we could drop of our cases if the rooms were not ready. However the two bedroom apartment was ready for us and the down stairs one bedroom apartment was ready soon after. The upstairs (2 bed) apartment is very spacious with two terraces were you can sit outside and enjoy an alfresco meal, the smaller terrace next to the kitchen was used mostly for breakfast and dinner with views of the sun going down. The downstairs (1 bed) apartment had two bathrooms and a large outside eating area. The living area remained nice and cool during the day which was good but all the bedrooms had air conditioning which was definitely needed. The garden and pool area were fantastic, we had the pool to ourselves for most of the time except for a few hours on a couple of occasions. This was one of the highlights of our stay as a cooling dip was most appreciated after a morning exploring Sorrento. The villa is in a terrific location being only 5 minutes walk from the Corso Italia.
