Sorrento Heart

Studio apartment of 33 square meters with a common pool, located in a prestigious area of Sorrento on the third floor of a building with an elevator

Sorrento Heart can host two people, has one bathroom, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi internet and a furnished balcony with a splendid view of the antique wall of Sorrento.

Sorrento Heart is situated right in the center of Sorrento, a few meters from the Porta di Parsano, the only remains of the ancient walls which once surrounded (and at one time defended) the city. Through here, you’ll find yourself on the main promenade just a few meters from the Piazza Tasso, the heart of Sorrento with its characteristic alleyways, bars, restaurants, and shops.

The apartment is just a few hundred meters from the train station, bus station, and taxi rank, from where you can travel to the various nearby destinations: Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Pompeii, and Naples. A little more than 700 m away is Marina Grande, the characteristic fishing village, famous for its shores, its restaurants, and also because it was where they shot some of Sophia Loren’s most famous films. Also, 700 m away is the touristic port of Marina Piccola. From here it’s possible to take the hydrofoil for the islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida (and it’s also possible to rent a boat of any size, with or without boatman, to be free to enjoy the coastal waters however you want).

Sorrento Heart is on the third floor of a five-story building. It is reached by climbing around 70 stairs though the building also has a lift.

You will not need a car to stay at Sorrento Heart. However, if you arrive by car you will be able to park in a public pay car park.

In the garden, you will find a tennis court which you can reserve and pay to use. It’s shared with the other residents of the park. Equipment is not supplied but you can rent some from a nearby shop.

THE SWIMMING POOL is 400 square meters in size and the pool area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers, and an outdoor shower. From the pool, you will enjoy a lovely view of the garden and the nearby buildings. The pool is shared with the other residents and is available from the middle of June until the middle of September, from 08.00 AM to 12:00 PM, and then from 03:00 PM until 08:00 PM.

THE STUDIO WITH ENSUITE BATHROOM is furnished elegantly and modern with touches of popular design, such as light fixtures from ‘Fontanarte’. The room is large with a matrimonial bed, kitchenette, two stovetops, a fridge and freezer, a table with two chairs, a library, closet and plasma T.V. The room has air condition, heating and Wi-Fi internet. The bathroom has a sink, shower and bath, toilet, bidet and hairdryer.

THE PRIVATE BALCONY is about 10 square meters. It has a table with two chairs. Sitting on this balcony can help make your vacation even more enjoyable while you enjoy some good wine and admire the lights of the Sorrentine mountains. The balcony is accessed through French doors from the studio.
