Charming private villa with pool near Amalfi Coast
This villa is situated in stunning scenery, suspended between the sea and the sky. It can accommodate up to 6 guests who will enjoy a wonderful garden, a refreshing pool and spectacular views over the Amalfi Coast. The villa is perfect for all kinds of guests: couples, families with children and groups of friends.
The villa has got three big bedrooms with beautiful furnishings, a spacious living room, where guests can watch TV or surf the internet using a Wi-Fi connection, a well-furnished kitchen equipped with fridge, oven and kitchen utensils. There are two bathrooms, one with a Jacuzzi and another with a box shower and a washing machine. Two of the three bedrooms can be converted into twin rooms (on request).
From the road leading to the villa, you will enjoy spectacular views of the Sorrentine Peninsula below you, the bay of Naples and the Vesuvius in the background, the Amalfi Coast, Positano, Praiano and the golf of Salerno to the south. From the villa, you can admire the famous "Li Galli", three islands where the legendary mermaids bewitched the sailors by singing, causing a lot of ships to crash into the rocks. During the burning hours of the day, the sea and the sky tremble in the intense blue and wonderfully hot and bright climate. A gentle and welcoming breeze rises in the evening!
Outside there is a lovely swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful garden which overlooks the Amalfi Coast. The pool has a wide solarium equipped with sun loungers, sunshades, parasols and a shower. It is suitable for people with wheelchairs and families. The swimming pool is the perfect place to have breakfast and in the evening it is the ideal place to have a romantic supper by candlelight or a drink or a swim by moonlight. Guests can use the swimming pool from mid-April to October.
Outside the villa there is a typical wooden and stone canopy, a wood-burning oven and all you need to prepare pizza and a delicious BBQ! Guests can taste cuisine specialties in the comfort of the villa, thanks to a qualified Pizza Chef who can bake the real Neapolitan pizza in the wood-burning oven outside in the garden.
The villa is the ideal setting for guests who love nature. The garden, 3000 square metres, offers a great range of plants such as roses, cikas plants, grapevines and lemons. There is a tilled footpath in the garden, which allows you to access and pick seasonal fruit and vegetables to prepare local dishes and enjoy the colours and the typical scents of the Mediterranean, which make the villa a small corner of heaven. The garden also has two elegant wooden gazebos and artistic benches, where you can relax with a drink, listen to music or admire one of the most beautiful sights of the Amalfi Coast.
This property is the ideal place to spend your holidays, as it is a short car journey to the centre of Sorrento, which is full of leisure facilities, nightclubs, wine bars, pubs, restaurants and beautiful beaches. The nearest supermarket, restaurant, bar and bus stop are only a 10-minute walk. It lies in a magnificent setting where nature is combined with elegance in Colli di Fontanelle, a hill hamlet of Sant'Agnello which is near the famous and refined Sorrento and the fashionable Positano. The villa is surrounded by the enchanting turquoise of the Amalfi coast and the scent of the lemon trees. The spectacular setting of the Villa La Pace is approximately 20 minutes drive from Sorrento and Positano.

By Car: Whether travelling from north or south, exit the A3 Naples-Salerno motorway at Castellamare and follow the signs for the Penisola Sorrentina / Sorrento. 750 metres after the square in Meta di Sorrento, turn left in the direction of Positano and continue for a further 2 miles, until you come to the sign for Sant'Agata sui due Golfi.
By Air: From Naples Capodichino Airport (38 miles away), take the A3 Naples-Salerno motorway at Castellamare and follow the signs for the Penisola Sorrentina / Sorrento. 750 metres after the square in Meta di Sorrento, turn left in the direction of Positano and continue for a further 2 miles, until you come to the sign for Sant'Agata sui due Golfi.
By Sea: From the pier Beverello di Napoli (close to the Municipio Square) take a ferry or hydrofoil to Sorrento. At the port of Sorrento take a taxi to our address, or get to Piazza Tasso and from there take the bus to Sant'Agata - Massa Lubrense (Bus SITA) and get off at Colli di Fontanelle. You can also contact our staff in advance to book transfer service from the port.
By Train: From the Central Station in Naples Piazza Garibaldi of Ferrovie dello Stato (where the trains to and from major cities in Italy arrive), you can take the local train called Circumvesuviana for Sorrento. It departs daily every thirty minutes. Get off in Piano di Sorrento. From there take a taxi to our address, or take the bus and stop in Colli di Fontanelle, or simply contact our staff in advance to book transfer service from the train station.

This is a beautiful villa in an amazing setting
The well-kept gardens (including a vegetable patch which we were invited to help ourselves to) great swimming pool and fabulous views really made it. The house was very well appointed with everything we needed and Michele and Tina were very welcoming and helpful. The village nearby was just a short walk away and had several restaurants and a bar that sold croissants for breakfast. The house is in a great location for exploring the area although the narrow winding roads took a bit of getting used to! Would thoroughly recommend for a family holiday.

A fantastic base for a family holiday to Sorrento and the surrounding area
We were able to have the perfect blend of some quiet days at home, enjoying the wonderful garden and pool, in a very private and beautiful location, but being close to Sorrento and havin easy access to the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, etc. The house and grounds were even more spacious than the photos give you an impression of. We really enjoyed the village feel but with the convenience of being able to pop in and out of Sorrento in 15/20 mins. We would recommend a smaller car, due to the narrow roads in the area. Alfonso and Michele were so friendly and helpful, we felt very welcomed. Our questions were answered very quickly. Infact, the whole community around the villa - the baker up the road, the small supermarket staff and even strangers at the square who we asked directions of, were all incredibly friendly and helpful to us during our stay. We would love to come back some day.
Beyond my expectations
This was our first visit to the Amalfi Coast and it exceeded all expectations. The villa is absolutely incredible & modern with all amenities. The owners and property managers were always accessible and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The village of Sant' Agnello is a 5-10 minute walk from the villa where you can sit at a café and enjoy an espresso or gelato. There are also very good restaurants in town. Sorrento is about 10-15 minutes away by car and where we took a boat to Positano and Capri. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. We will definitely be back!

Spectacular family retreat
There is a gorgeous view from the gazebo/pool area of the Mediterranean towards Positano where the sun rises each morning. From the driveway you can view another portion of the sea including 3 small islands. The gardens are extensive and contain many fruit trees, olive trees, vegetables and roses as well as sitting areas not included in the photos here. The villa was clean and updated with a lot of nice finishes like screens on the windows and beautiful shutters. The entire property is fenced with an electric gate creating a private and secure space. Our children spent much time picking fruit and vegetables to eat and swimming in the beautiful pool. Really the view is so much better in person than the pictures! The villa is also located central to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi as well as an easy day trip to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius. Lastly the hosts were extremely welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for a memorable stay!

We had a very nice stay in Miguel and Tina's villa. The garden is amazing; full of flowers, plants, lemon trees and several places to sit & relax. You can park the car on the property. The area is quiet and there are beautiful views. The owners are very friendly and brought us some lovely fresh vegetables. The outdoor kitchen is great for a barbecue. Inside the house you have everything you can think of and it is very clean. In the village there is a local supermarket with fresh bread every day. There is also a butcher, pizzeria, restaurant and gelateria. In short, all ingredients are available for a wonderful holiday!
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here
Was the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful views and avoid the crowds. The place was spotless, the owners met us and gave us a walk through at checkin and were also the folks who made the pizza party for us. They were very friendly and kind. There was a grocery store a short walk away, that had just about everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time in this house and on the very spacious property
A fantastic view over the valley and the Amalfi Coast guarantees a relaxed breakfast in the morning sun by the pool. The house is equipped with all the necessary equipment and offers plenty of space for large families. The stone oven in front of the house is great, on which we baked delicious pizza after it was heated by the extremely nice owners. Small tip:; Would like to make more dough... What we found difficult was the bus connection to Positano, as the bus in Colli di Fontanelle is often already full. Better get on in Sorrento or take a taxi... Overall a nice holiday. We can fully recommend the house
